Air Defenses Activated Over Tehran as U.S. Strikes Enter 13th Consecutive Night

Iran activated its air defense systems over western, eastern, and northeastern Tehran early Thursday after detecting what state media described as “hostile aerial threats.” Iranian outlets reported that air defense units engaged suspected drones or missiles approaching strategic areas of the capital.

The incident came as U.S. Central Command continued its 13th consecutive night of strikes against targets across Iran. Explosions were also reported in Ahvaz, Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, and areas near nuclear facilities, according to Iranian media.

The latest developments indicate that the ongoing campaign has expanded deeper into Iranian territory, with Tehran’s air defenses remaining on high alert as the conflict continues.
