ALIKO MENDY ALLEGEDLY FIRES GUNSHOTS AT IBEX HILL CAR WASH, DAMAGES PARKED CARS
Several people at a car wash in Ibex Hill were left shaken following an alleged incident involving businessman Aliko Mendy.
According to eyewitnesses, Mendy had gone to the car wash to have his vehicle cleaned while watching the Shepolopolo match. He was reportedly in the company of an unidentified man.
Witnesses allege that a woman believed to be his wife later arrived at the scene, after which a heated argument broke out between the two in full view of other patrons.
During the altercation, witnesses claim Mendy allegedly produced a pistol and fired four shots into the air. They further allege that he then got into his vehicle and reversed recklessly, damaging several parked cars before driving away.
One witness heard Mendy shout, “I have money. I will fix your cars tomorrow,” before leaving the scene.
“We have been left traumatized. Anything could have happened to us,” one eyewitness said.
