THE FARMING SEASON IS UPON US. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT
GOVERNMENT COMPLETES THE PROCESS TO DISTRIBUTE FARMING
INPUTS SO THAT OUR FARMERS CAN BE GUARANTEED OF A SUCCESFUL
HARVEST NEXT YEAR.

MADE EASIER By THE CONSTRUCTiON OF A GOOD ROAD NETWORK
WE ARE ALSO CONCERNED ABOUT THE TREATMENT THAT OUR FORMER PRESIDENT EDGAR CHAGWA LUNGU AND HIS FAMILY IS RECEIVING AT THE HANDS OF THE STATE.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE FORMER HEAD OF STATE IS TREATED WELL
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OFFICE HE SERVED.
WE SINCERELY LOOK FORWARD TO A DAY WHERE FORMER HEADS OF
STATE WILL NOT SPEND THEIR ENTiRE LIVES FIGHTING IN COURTS OF
AW OR ENGAGED IN POLITICAL BATTLES
WE KNOW THE HARRASMENT THAT FORMER PRESIDENT FREDERICK
CHILUBA AND RUPIAH BANDA RECEIVED AT THE HANDS OF THE STATE
IN THIS CASE, FOR EXAMPLE, THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT HAS RULED SEVERAL TIMES THAT PRESIDENT EDGAR LUNGU IS ELIGIBLE TO STAND AS PRESIDENT IN AN ELECTION WHY DO WE HAVE FRESH CASES CHALLENGING HIS ELIGIBILITY WHICH
IS SUCH A SETTLED POSITION?

THE FINAL AUTHORITY.
WE SHOULD RESPECT THEIR WILL AND NOT THWART THEIR OPTIONS.
With all due respect to our Chief; the issue of Lungu is not about HH, No, the issue is what is contained in the Zambian constitution which needs to be respected.
Nakubufumu kwine kulaba ifyakukonka. Ìts’s not ifyabupunka aweeee. Think about that critically.
So Lungu was sworn in twice and the Zambian constitution does not say one should be sworn in three times aweee, so issue yabo ba Mr. Apona epoikoselele apapene pali aya ama words yabili. If people want him back or if he wants himself back but apapapene pali being sworn in epali ilyashi road block. Its not HH who wrote that in the constitution No so no need of bringing amawala apa – otherwise this is the supreme law of the land tslking babaaa.
Mwimubikamo HH taliko when MR AGWA wss digning the 2016 amended constitution.
These Chiefs are lost! Educate them. Constitution is live and dictating.
Lungu is not eligible chapwa. Don’t bring in issues to attach HH to the case.
Zambia has a written constitution. I am very sure the chiefdom has NO constitution but led by emmotions/feelings NOT laws. So, don’t mix the two governance systems, they are distinct.
If The courts rules in in favour of ECl then HH will have the chance for third term. Kaili nish yayamba third term
We follow the constitution not people’s feelings
It is about the constitution not about what chiefs you want please stay away from that issue
Our beloved chiefs, please stay away from tribal politics. This is a matter for a decision by the ConCourt to pass a JUDGMENT. Why are you worried if you believe in the rule of law?
It is very sad to see the above Zambezi bloggers ridiculing these chiefs.
They think that the only chiefs that are wise are those from the Zambezi region.
The rest of the country has bent backwards to promote inclusiveness and respect for all regions of the country.
Let them continue insulting the rest of peace loving regions of Zambia, and see what will happen to them in 2026.
Vote wisely in 2026.
@Indigo Tyrol you are engulfed with hatred and anger because your statements on this platform have always been negative and demeaning towards the new dawn government. The gang up of Bisa traditional leaders to advocate for Edgar Chagwa Lungu to contest the 2026 general elections is a misplaced and misleading statement.
The tribal politics being championed by the Bisa traditional shows how low and uninformed these traditional leaders are and one can tell that they are paid by Edgar Chagwa Lungu to speak on his behalf. Why not let the Courts of Law to decide independently. During the PF regime hooligans and thugs used to camp in numbers at the Supreme Court and Constitutional Court and all this was done to intimidate Judges and Edgar Chagwa Lungu used to issue threats to Judges openly.
In all fairness the new dawn government is far much better than the blatant oppressive PF regime when it was in power. Equally, Edgar Chagwa Lungu has destroyed the PF by imposing himself on its leadership and the confusion is still unresolved.
So Indigol Tyrol you are free to vote for PF hooligans but be rest assured that the PF political party is in intensive care unit surviving on supplementary oxygen. After, the August 2026 general elections PF will be a forgotten political party and will not exist on paper.
The issue is not about the Zambezi people but what the Constitution says. If the courts heed the Bisa chiefs’ call, a precedent will be set.
Such sentiment shows that you lack emotional intelligence.
In Zambia, all the eyes are on HH instead of being on the law. HH is not the law and the law is not HH, the law is the constitution and HH is the president of the Republic of Zambia, so the two are very different from each other. Whatever the outcome on 10th Dec, it has nothing whatsoever to do with HH, and HH has nothing to do with it. What will allow Lungu either to stand or not stand is the law and not HH please, mulekeni umuntu wakaele. We are equal before the law, whether we are Chiefs, Priests or Bishops, Ministers, the President and his Vice, etc, that is why they say; no one is above the law. It doesn’t mean that because it’s the Chiefs who have voiced out, the the law should be relaxed or changed, no, things don’t work that way.
Exactly! Because we fail to realise this. People and even lawyers want to set the law aside for their convience.
We only have to look at the bible to realise how in our human nature we think setting aside the law has no consequence.
Following the law isnt about HH. It should about who we are and the respect we find in being law abiding citizens.
The absence of the law is said to be chaos. Do those who suggest so, love and think we can thrive in such a situation? How then do we exist in such a situation (anarchy)?
Does the Chief then, at his whim set aside the norms and culture of the Bisa people? And think this would be devoid of repercussion? Who suurrounds this man and gives him counsel?
They say the definition of insanity is doing the same (wrong) thing and expecting a different outcome.
We await the court verdict on the ECL matter; to preempt it with such a notion; is to want to upsurp the courts. I doubt he would want us to start to meddle with his dealing in his chiefdom? Said with all due respect sire! We need to take our laws seriously, the same manner we value and look up to our Values and traditions.
Have they been bribed? If there’s any one person who would greatly profit from allowing ECL standing it is HH. By allowing ECL on the ballot we will technically be removing the presidential term limits. Instead of the chiefs misplacing their loyalty the best they can do is to advocate for a constitutional amendment removing the presidential term limits altogether. Then the pandora box will open with some Chiefs also demanding that they too be allowed to participate in politics. Let’s be frank with each other and decide what’s good for the country and not a single individual.
Your Royal highness, you started your Royal letter by bringing out pertinent issues of lack of development in certain areas like road networks and other concerns that require money for them to be resolved, then you hit a tangent by claiming that the first family is being mistreated by the state. What you should have royally connected is the corrupt acquisition of the countries resources by the greedy presidential family which I turn affected the equitable distribution of resources to the areas of concern that you raised. You should have sat down to look at the immense national wealth that was diverted by these greedy people to deprive you and your people the development that you badly need. To say leave them alone, is like saying that it is okey for people to steal and deprive the nation of national resources and be supported by royal highnesses whose people have been deprived by the greedy people. It is high time royal highnesses called a spade a spade, those people who stole must account. I believe even within your kingdoms, you would not want thieves to go Scott free and claim to be victimized when they are caught stealing. Look at the genesis of issues for you to understand the revelations. I hope l have guided on how highnesses must approach issues and not use your previlage of being highnesses to defend people who did not think of the nation when given the authority to lead. And allowing such people back to continue where they left is not ethical unless we do not care about our lives and the lives of those that will come after we are long gone
He is stupid chief who can not do anything in his area very lazy chief
Pure politically motivated chief!! Of all the wrong things ECL has done you have not mentioned any,Sir do you only think that all the people in your chiefdom are PF? What about the others who might be of different views on ECL? Don’t try to be smart, instead think like a leader.you are not only a chief for ECL followers in that chiefdom.
I feel the best way is to rush a motion in parliament to abolish the minimum taniture for presidential term. Anything away from this is unconstitutional.
I submit.
Remnants of Zambia’s feudal past trying to stand in the way of efforts to build a modern and egalitarian society. If public resources are misused and personalised, how will roads and bridges be built?
Well said….bwana!
Kanshi we also have chiefs who’re pfidiots?
Rather who have nonsense of logic and either dont heed to counsel or havd counsel that is myopic
