BREAKING: Anderson Cooper Crowns Trump “Assman-in-Chief” After Playing Montage of Him Drooling Over Republican Men

Anderson Cooper just gave Donald Trump a title he is never going to shake, and he earned it with Trump’s own mouth.

On Wednesday night, Cooper opened AC360 with the Seinfeld clip where Kramer ends up with vanity plates that read “ASSMAN,” then told viewers Kramer has been dethroned. “He is no longer New York’s most famous assman,” Cooper said, before introducing the new champion: “the assman-in-chief.”

The reason is Trump’s strange fixation on Republican Sen. Jon Husted of Ohio. At a rally last week, Trump said he does not usually do this, then did it anyway. “I started examining his body because I didn’t know he was a great athlete. And I looked, and I watched up and down. I looked at his ass.” He did it again Tuesday at a rally in North Carolina.

Cooper did not stop at Husted. He pulled the tape on every man Trump has gushed over, and the montage just keeps going. Trump called Sen. Tim Sheehy “a very handsome guy” and said he doesn’t like handsome guys. He asked whether Sen. Bill Hagerty is “central casting.” He said Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart has “legs like tree trunks.” He called Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker “a good-looking sucker” and told the crowd it’s “usually not my thing.” He even brought up Arnold Palmer in the shower with the other pros.

Trump keeps saying it is a one-off. Cooper played the tape, and it was not a one-off. “It’s never been my thing,” Trump has said, and then comes another clip.

Cooper saved the knockout for the end. Husted, who Trump keeps praising from the neck down, is trailing Democrat Sherrod Brown in Ohio. “As for Husted, his ass may be hard, but his polling is soft,” Cooper said. “According to the latest CNN poll of polls, he’s down five points.”

The same night, Cooper noted that Trump’s own approval rating sits at 32 percent in the new CNN poll. The president is spending rally time reviewing the physiques of his candidates while the numbers fall out from under all of them.

Cooper did not editorialize much. He did not need to. He played the tape, let Trump talk, and let the whole country hear it.
