Another Zimbabwean has reportedly died while fighting in the Russia-Ukraine war.
The deceased, who has only been identified as Tanaka, is reported to have lost his life while serving with Russian forces.
His death adds to the growing number of Zimbabweans reported to have died in the conflict.
Many foreign recruits are believed to be attracted by enlistment incentives, including sign-up bonuses reportedly ranging from US$20,000 to US$37,000, as well as monthly salaries of between US$2,500 and US$4,500.
The full circumstances surrounding Tanaka’s death have not yet been made public.
