BREAKING: ANSARALLAH CLAIMS SAUDI ARABIA CARRIED OUT 119 AIRSTRIKES ACROSS YEMEN IN 24 HOURS
Yemen’s Houthi movement, Ansarallah, claims that the Saudi Arabian Air Force carried out 119 airstrikes across several areas of Yemen within a 24-hour period.
According to a statement by Ansarallah, the alleged strikes targeted areas under its control in five governorates: Saada, Taiz, Lahij, Al-Jawf and Al Hudaydah.
The group claims that Saudi F-15 and Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets participated in the operations, taking off from King Khalid Air Base and King Fahd Air Base before conducting attacks on multiple locations across Yemen.
Ansarallah described the reported strikes as a major aerial operation against territories under its control.
However, the reported figure of 119 airstrikes, the locations targeted and the extent of the damage have not been independently verified. Saudi Arabia has not been cited as confirming the claims in the statement.
The allegations come amid continued tensions surrounding Yemen and the wider regional security situation.
