BELARUS PREPARES FOR WAR: LUKASHENKO ORDERS ENTIRE ARMY TESTED—UP TO MOBILIZATION
Speaking today, September 11, Alexander Lukashenko announced that Belarus will test the combat readiness of its entire military, including its mobilization procedures.
“The army needs to be shaken up; the time has come. The entire army. We will test everyone—up to and including mobilization,” he said.
“We are preparing for war so that it does not happen.”
Lukashenko has not announced an actual mobilization. He is ordering expanded readiness inspections intended to recreate wartime conditions, including checks of artillery, tank and motorized-rifle units.
The announcement demands close attention as Ukrainian intelligence reports that Belarus is forming a new airborne brigade approximately 40 kilometers from Ukraine’s border.
