BRE CONGRATULATES PRESIDENT HICHILEMA

The Barotse Royal Establishment (BRE) has conveyed the joy of His Majesty the Litunga Lubosi Imwiko II, the Kuta and the people of Barotseland following the resounding victory of President Hakainde Hichilema in the just-ended General Elections.
In its congratulatory message, the BRE says it looks forward to working with the President as he charts the development programme for the next five years.
DEVELOPMENT PRIORITIES FOR BULOZI
The Barotse Royal Establishment has outlined a number of key development areas for the region, among them:
🔹 Construction of Chiefs’ Palaces
🔹 Improved road infrastructure, including feeder roads
🔹 Better education delivery, with emphasis on boarding schools and provision of tertiary education
🔹 A stronger livestock management service
🔹 Provision of sufficient industrial and domestic power
🔹 Opening of industries across the province
The BRE further expressed its hope that the President’s leadership will steer the nation towards peace and prosperity, while wishing him God’s guidance in his everyday undertakings.
