Brian Hapunda Apologises to PS Thabo Kawana Over Misleading Pictures
Brian Hapunda has apologised to Information and Media Permanent Secretary Thabo Kawana for sharing pictures that appeared to suggest that the PS had omitted former President Edgar Lungu from an Independence Day-related image.
Mr Hapunda said it had come to his attention that Mr Kawana was not in the country on Independence Day and that the pictures in question were old, showing Mr Kawana wearing a shirt bearing the image of all former Presidents except Edgar Lungu.
He offered an apology to Mr Kawana, whom he referred to as his brother, when he appeared on the Diamond Live programme this evening.
