Bullet grazes past Mundubile’s head, strikes wife’s trousers
NRPUP Presidential candidate Brian Mundubile has alleged that a bullet grazed past his head and struck his wife’s trousers during an incident at his residence last evening, following what he described as harassment by soldiers
Yesterday, both Mundubile and his running mate, Makebi Zulu, alleged that the NRPUP Presidential candidate had been picked up by the military and taken to an undisclosed location.
“Over 40 soldiers and other security personnel were present and brutalized President Mundubile and his wife as they lifted them and threw them into their vehicle,” Zulu alleged in a Facebook post.
In a public statement, Mundubile confirmed that he had been picked up by the military and was under interrogation over two videos posted on his Facebook page, in which he urged the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) to announce the election results, saying he and his team already knew the outcome based on their Parallel Vote Tabulation (PVT).
In a short video clip released yesterday, Mundubile is seen showing the side of his head where he alleges the bullet grazed him, with what appears to be gunpowder residue visible in a portion of his hair.
Mundubile further alleges that the bullet went on to strike his wife’s trousers after passing close to his head.
Images of Mundubile reportedly reuniting with his twin daughters have also emerged following the incident.
According to a brief account given in the video, the same bullet reportedly struck Tonse Alliance member Mutotwe Kafwaya before grazing through the couple.
The allegations have yet to be independently verified.

There has been serious misinformation and blatant lies aimed at placing the Mundubile camp as victims. This will not work. There is prison time waiting for anyone who declares themselves winner. Based on a projection created on 26th June 2026. And ACC have not abandoned the delivery of air at 1.5 billion kwacha.
Trying to milk public sympathy to stay out of jail. Or win an election. Simply doesn’t work.

But surely, does these people know how high velocity projectile moves, this bullet makes corners. The wife was standing on her hands for legs to be the same height as the head. Or she was stand 60 meters away from where mundubile was? This shows how dull he is! Next lies please!!!
Gun powder where the bullet grazed his head? He must have been standing within 30cm or less of the gun muzzle for that to happen. And the bullet missed him at that close range?
This is a manufactured story. PF, the true representation of hypocrisy, lies and lawlessness. Forensic experts will easily punch holes in this ridiculous story.

Actually in forensic ballistics we talk of residue gun powder which is black in colour not that baby powder. Gun powder burns in a millisecond after the trigger is pulled. Now to see unburnt gun powder on Mundubile’s head is quite funny. The bullet that grazed his head changes it’s trajectory and strikes the wife’s trousers, this is very interesting and unimaginable.
