NRPUP CONDEMNS POLICE ARREST OF MR. KENNEDY KAMBA
Mr. Kennedy Kamba, NRPUP &Tonse Alliance Deputy Secretary General for Voter Protection has been arrested by police at the airport for unknown reasons when he went to pick up his daughter.
Our lawyers have been instantly activated to follow up and understand this sudden police arrest.
In his official capacity, Mr. Kamba has been mobilizing and coordinating countrywide alliance teams at all levels for Presidential Polling Agents and Physical Voter Protection Units.
In addition, Mr. Kamba is a key member of the 5 NRPUP TEAM that is accredited to receive and inspect ballot papers at the airport tomorrow morning at 05:00 and at the ECZ warehouse in Silverest.
Consequently, we as NRPUP and TONSE PAMODZI ALLIANCE vehemently condemn his political arrest and demand his immediate release from police custody.
