BRITAIN REFUSES TO RETREAT AFTER RUSSIAN THREATS
Russia has threatened the United Kingdom with unspecified “consequences” following reports that British-made drones are being used for Ukrainian strikes inside Russia.
The Russian Embassy in London accused Britain of deliberately escalating the war and attempting to inflict maximum damage on Russia “through proxies.” Britain did not retreat. The Ministry of Defence said the country continues to stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine and remains committed to supplying the equipment needed to resist Vladimir Putin’s invasion.
The UK has not officially confirmed which British systems were used in specific attacks. However, military sources told The Times that Ukraine has successfully employed drones produced by two British companies during its deep-strike campaign. These reportedly include the jet-powered Nyan One Way Effector, developed by Callen-Lenz under BAE Systems’ FalconWorks division, and another unnamed British design.
Britain plans to supply Ukraine with 150,000 drones by the end of 2026 through a £752 million program. Combined with British support for long-range weapons, air defense, training and domestic Ukrainian production, London has quietly become one of the powerhouses behind Ukraine’s expanding unmanned arsenal.
The appearance of British-built drones over Russian territory sends a clear message: Moscow’s threats are no longer enough to intimidate one of Ukraine’s most committed allies.
