BREAKING: Caitlyn Jenner Begs Trump to Fix Her Passport After Voting for the Man Who Took It
Caitlyn Jenner spent years cheerleading for Trump and his MAGA movement, even as that movement made no secret of its hostility toward transgender Americans. Now she’s paying the price, and the internet has very little sympathy.
Trump signed an executive order in the first week of his second term declaring the federal government would only recognize two biological sexes. The Supreme Court subsequently allowed the administration to move forward with forcibly changing gender markers on federal documents, including passports. For Jenner, who began her public transition in 2015, that change has had real consequences.
In a recent interview with conservative commentator Tomi Lahren, Jenner said the altered passport has left her unable to travel internationally or even vote, since she no longer has valid matching identification. She asked what she is supposed to do now, calling it a safety concern.
Despite all of this, Jenner made clear she still supports Trump personally. She said she wrote him a letter explaining her situation, dropped it off at Mar-a-Lago two months ago, and has heard nothing back. She added that she does not blame him and loves what he is doing.
The View’s Ana Navarro had a blunt response on Instagram: “Boo-hoo. Cry me a river.” Her followers piled on, with many pointing out that Jenner voted directly for the policies now affecting her own life.
