Canadian Analyst Warns Iran Could Be “Sent Back to the Stone Age” if It Rejects U.S. Deal
Canadian analyst Raynald Tremblay has urged Iran to either capitulate or reach a rapid agreement with the United States, warning that continued confrontation with Washington could have devastating consequences for the country.
Responding to Donald Trump’s threats against Iran, Tremblay argued that Tehran should urgently seek a diplomatic settlement with Washington rather than risk further escalation.
“Iran should absolutely reach an agreement with the United States, because otherwise, by the end of the exercise, the country could have to return to the camel as a means of transportation,” Tremblay said.
His remarks reflect the growing debate over the potential consequences of a prolonged U.S.-Iran confrontation, particularly for Iran’s military infrastructure, economy and civilian population.
Tremblay’s reference to a return to the “Stone Age” underscores the scale of destruction he believes Iran could face if tensions escalate into another major conflict.
The comments come amid heightened pressure on Tehran to reach an understanding with Washington, as Trump continues to issue increasingly forceful warnings toward the Iranian leadership.
