CENTCOM says over 80 Iranian military targets struck in major operation

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that U.S. forces struck more than 80 military targets across Iran in a large-scale operation

According to CENTCOM, the strikes destroyed more than 60 fast attack boats operated by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), along with multiple air defense systems, coastal radar stations, and other military infrastructure.

The United States said the operation was launched in response to the alleged Iranian attack on three commercial cargo and oil tankers transiting the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical maritime oil shipping routes.

Iran has not yet released a comprehensive assessment of the reported damage, and the claims made by the United States have not been independently verified.
