Chad Announces Visa-Free Entry for All African Citizens Starting 2027
Chad has announced it will remove entry visa requirements for all African nationals starting January 1, 2027.
President Mahamat Idriss Déby announced the new policy, which will allow African citizens with valid passports to enter Chad without obtaining a visa.
Chad becomes the 8th African country after Ghana, Togo, Congo, Rwanda, Benin, Seychelles and The Gambia to remove visa requirements for fellow Africans.
