CHARLES MILUPI APPOINTED MINISTER OF TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS

Nominated Member of Parliament Charles Milupi has been appointed Minister of Transport and Logistics, taking over from immediate past Ndola Central Member of Parliament Frank Tayali, who served in the position before the dissolution of Parliament.
Mr Milupi has been moved from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Urban Development, where he served during the previous term after being appointed as a nominated Member of Parliament.
His appointment as President Hakainde Hichilema completes the formation of his Cabinet in his second term following the restructuring of government ministries from 24 to 30.
Meanwhile, Lukulu South Constituency Member of Parliament Dr Christopher Kalila has been appointed Minister of Housing, a newly established ministry under President Hichilema’s administration.
Both ministers have been sworn in, completing the appointments to the 30 ministries under President Hichilema’s second-term administration.
