Chief Nyamwana to Contest Ikeleñi Constituency Seat Again After 2021 Loss.
Peter Fisher, who was honored with the chieftainship title of Nyamwana, is reportedly set to contest the Ikeleñi constituency seat again, having lost the 2021 election on PF ticket to Elijah Muchima.
Fisher, who grew up in the Ikeleñi district, is well-liked by the locals due to his charitable endeavors and fluency in the Lunda language.
Ikeleñi is one of the most underdeveloped districts in the province.

He is an honorary chief, he is not bound by the law. He doesn’t even appear in the government gazette and he doesn’t get any salary or allowance from the government. So he is free to stand.
