CHIPOKA MULENGA SCOOPS CHINGOLA WEST SEAT AS CHANSA DISPUTE THE RESULTS.

Chingola West Constituency Returning Officer Grace Mulenga has declared Chipoka Mulenga as a duly elected Member of Parliament for Chingola West polling 9,995 votes while Chansa polled 9,944 votes.
National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity Boris Chansa alleged that, he was leading in five of the eight wards in the constituency according to his witnesses and party officials.
Mr Chansa said the party members, polling agents, and other stakeholders complained that the Returning Officer did not allow them to verify the Chingola West Parliamentary results but rushed to announce the results without the authentication of stakeholders.
Mr. Chansa announced that, he will petition the seat and he has already started engaging his lawyers.
Another Stakeholder who was representing Independent Candidate Donald Chishika disputed the results, claiming that the returning officer Mrs Mulenga did not follow the right procedure before declaring Chipoka Mulenga as a winner.
