CHRIS ZUMANI ZIMBA REFUSES TO BE USED TO PETITION PRESIDENTIAL RESULTS.
Toonse Pamodzi Alliance Secretary General Chris Zumani Zimba has refused to be used to petition the Presidential election results.
Mr. Zumani Zimba says Hakainde Hichilema won the election and that he does not want to divide the country through what he describes as baseless claims.
He says with the current fire burning across the country, his priority should instead be healing, peace and reconciliation.
Mr. Zimba says as Secretary General of the Toonse Alliance, he believes refusing to petition the results will help save many lives and prevent further tension in the country
He says his brothers who are hiding and those in detention can only be helped through healing and reconciliation, rather than confrontation with the legitimately elected President.
“With such fire, petitioning Presidential Results Will Be a Big mistake! As for me as Tonse Alliance Founder, SG & Chief Advisor, I will NOT be PART of it. Let dialogue, healing, peace & reconciliation reign now to serve many detained & hiding.”
