CLARIFICATION ON THE OPENING OF PMG OFFICE IN LUNDAZI
I wish to clarify the circumstances surrounding my recent participation in the official opening of the PMG office in Lundazi.
Before the event, due diligence was carried out. The organizers presented valid documentation confirming that the entity was duly registered and tax compliant. Based on this information, I officiated at the opening in good faith, believing the venture to be a legitimate initiative aimed at contributing to local economic development.
I wish to state clearly that my presence at the event was purely in the line of duty , to support local development activities in the district. At no point was my office, or I personally, in any form of partnership or collaboration with PMG
It has since come to my attention that the organization has not operated in accordance with its initial stated purpose and motive. Consequently, I have referred the matter to the relevant authorities for appropriate action.
As District Commissioner, I remain fully committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and genuine investment that contributes positively to the growth and development of Lundazi District.
