CONFUSION AT CHOMA CENTRAL TOTALLING CENTRE
There was confusion at the Choma Central Totalling Centre today after Choma Central Returning Officer Rebecca Kalumba allegedly mismatched yesterday’s reading with today’s reading.
The Member of Parliament results from Adastra Two Polling Station were recorded yesterday as 272 votes for Cornelius Mweetwa and 95 votes for Baker Chakwana.
However, today’s recording showed 126 votes for Baker Chakwana and 272 votes for Cornelius Mweetwa.
It was later clarified that 272 for Cornelius Mweetwa and 95 votes for Chakwana Baker being recorded were actually from Sibanyati Polling Station, rather than Adastra Two Polling Station.
