CONGRATULATIONS ON THE NOMINATION OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES,WOMEN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to President Hakainde Hichilema for the political will and commitment that have culminated in this significant milestone towards advancing inclusive governance in our country.
The nomination of five members of Parliament drawn from persons with disabilities, women and young people represents more than a political appointment.
It is a powerful affirmation that every citizen, regardless of ability or age, has a place and a voice in shaping the destiny of our nation.What may once have seemed like an aspiration or distant possibility has today become a tangible reality.
This is a meaningful step towards building a more inclusive Zambia in which diversity is recognised as a strength and no one is left behind.
I also extend my sincere congratulations to all those nominated. Your nomination comes with an important responsibility: to serve as voices for inclusion, opportunity and equitable participation, while contributing meaningfully to national development.
May you use this opportunity to advance the President’s vision of a Zambia where every citizen has an opportunity to participate, contribute and benefit from the country’s socio-economic development.
