COPPERBELT RESIDENTS: “NINSHI MUFWAYA?” — MASHEKE AKASHAMBATWA

UPND member Masheke Akashambatwa has challenged Copperbelt residents to state what more they want from the government, citing the reopening and expansion of mining operations in the province.

He said:

“Copperbelt, MCM in Mufulira was closed, and we reopened it. KCM was closed, and we reopened it. Shaft 28 is expected to begin operations in December this year. So, ninshi, what do you want? I genuinely want to know.

“We have also brought Mingomba, a new mine. Ninshi mufwaya? We cannot simply leave the Copperbelt the way the PF left it. We will take development to wherever the people want it  chapwafye.”

Mr. Akashambatwa said the government remained committed to delivering development and revitalising the mining sector across the Copperbelt.

  1. Well said Aka I am from Chingola and I must say I am deeply disappointed the way they have treated the incumbent. Is that how you repay a hardworking President who has taken interest in solving your problems to improve your livelihoods..?? I ask. Really disgusting stuff inasmuch as everyone has a democratic right to vote for their preferred candidate. But this one hurt me bad. Nonetheless the UPND govt will still bring development to the area. That’s why Pres HH is the right leader to lead our beloved country Zambia. Takwaba ulupato nakalya.

  2. Nothing apart for the love and hate of tribe.
Most voted the way they did because they hate HH for his tribe.
They voted tonse alliance because Mandubile is from the tribe
they love. Nothing to do with policies.
