CORNELIUS MWEETWA LEFT OUT IN FIRST MINISTERIAL APPOINTMENTS.

President Hakainde Hichilema has left out Choma Central Member of Parliament Cornelius Mweetwa from the first round of ministerial appointments.

Mr. Mweetwa, who previously served as Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services, has not been retained in the portfolio, with Hon. Nkandu named as his replacement.

The development has raised questions about Mr. Mweetwa’s political future, particularly whether he will be considered for another ministerial position.

It remains unclear whether President Hichilema intends to appoint the Choma Central lawmaker to another Cabinet position in subsequent appointments.

For now, Mr. Mweetwa’s fate remains uncertain as further ministerial appointments are awaited.
