Court warns Mr “Say it Right”.

The Lusaka Magistrate’s Court has sternly warned businessman and vlogger Simon Mwewa against absconding court proceedings or he risks being reprimanded.

Magistrate Jennifer Bwalya censured the businessman this morning when he appeared before her in a case he is accused of assaulting National Restoration Party secretary general Clive Chikula.

The court was not pleased that Mwewa, who was on bench warrant, has been missing court sessions without sending sureties to explain his absence.

“I must warn you to follow court procedure next time. I don’t even know why you were not brought on warrant[by being arrested by police],” magistrate Bwalya said.

Mwewa earlier told the court that he was in South Africa to visit a brother who was admitted to a hospital there.
