Diddy Allegedly Gets VIP Treatment Behind Bars
Sean “Diddy” Combs is allegedly enjoying a VIP-style existence inside federal prison, with claims of massages, special meals, contraband alcohol and fellow inmates carrying out personal chores for him, according to TMZ.
TMZ reports that NBC News obtained photos and videos from Fort Dix in New Jersey and spoke to anonymous sources who claim Combs receives unusually favourable treatment behind bars.
The allegations include access to a contraband cellphone, massages, specially prepared meals and inmates who allegedly make his bed, do his laundry and clean his bathroom.
His reported meals include curry chicken, pizza and empanadas.
Sources also allege that Combs has obtained antidepressants from other inmates and had access to high-end liquor allegedly smuggled into the prison by guards. One inmate claimed he drank Hennessy with the music mogul.
The report further alleges that Combs has spent thousands of dollars on the commissary accounts of inmates who assist him, while other inmates reportedly help manage the large volume of fan mail he receives.
Combs’ representative, Juda Engelmayer, rejected the portrayal, telling TMZ that Combs is serving his sentence within the rules and that the media’s focus on the details of his prison life has become excessive.
Combs is serving a 50-month federal sentence after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and is appealing his conviction.
