DIVORCE US, SHE HASN’T FORGIVEN ME FOR SLEEPING WITH HER AUNT HUSBAND TELLS COURT.
A 36-year-old man of Burma Barracks has asked the Chilenje Local Court to dissolve his marriage, claiming that his wife has failed to forgive him after catching him having sex with her maternal aunt.
Ackim Chishala has taken his 32-year-old wife, Gloria Mooka, to court, arguing that their marriage has deteriorated because his wife continues to remind him of the embarrassing incident.
According to a report by journalist Peggy Mwansakilwa of News Diggers, Chishala told the court that his wife has been insulting him by calling him a prostitute who sleeps with different women.
He further complained that his wife humiliates him by making such accusations in front of their children and even at his workplace in the barracks.
Appearing before Magistrate Ackim Phiri, Chishala disclosed that he and his wife have not had sexual relations for the past two years, explaining that he has lost interest in her and no longer has feelings for her.
He therefore wants the court to bring their marriage to an end, saying the relationship has been affected by the unresolved incident and the continued disagreements between them.
The dispute reportedly stems from the time Mooka allegedly caught her husband having sex with her maternal aunt, an incident that appears to have remained a major source of conflict in their marriage.
