Do you see me in your dreams? Kabuswe asks Mundubile
FORMER Minister of Mines Paul Kabuswe has alleged that NRPUP presidential candidate Brian Mundubile wrongly accused him of being the mastermind behind the violence in which several Tonse Alliance vehicles were damaged at Sherbourne Hotel in Kitwe on Friday.
And Kabuswe, who is contesting the Chililabombwe parliamentary seat, has mocked the Tonse Alliance, claiming it is plagued by what he described as “confusion.”
Addressing a campaign meeting, Kabuswe questioned why Mundubile allegedly mentioned his name despite him not being at the hotel when the incident occurred.
“They were fighting among themselves, and I was on Sun FM Radio. But Mundubile goes on stage and alleges that the one who beat them and brought violence is Kabuswe. I reflected and asked, ‘Biggie, do you dream about me?'” Kabuswe remarked.
Kabuswe further claimed that he has unsettled the Brian Mundubile–Makebi Zulu ticket by repeatedly reminding Zambians that both leaders previously served under the Patriotic Front—PF, a party he alleged failed to deliver meaningful development during its time in office.
“You were a minister, what did you do? The party you’re leading—some have bags, some lamps, others candles—that’s confusion. You can’t govern a country with confusion. That’s why Zambians won’t vote for you. They will vote for Hakainde to continue,” Kabuswe said.
