DON’T LET UPND GO BEYOND 2026, KABIMBA IMPLORES ZAMBIANS

…as Mulusa notes that Zambians have been greatly disappointed

LUSAKA, Saturday, June 11, 2022 (Smart Eagles)

ECONOMIC Front (EF) Leader Wynter Kabimba has called on Zambians to give the UPND only one term in power.

Mr Kabimba said yesterday that citizens should not wait longer than five years to kick out the new dawn administration.

He said the distraction UPND will cause will be irreversible if left in power beyond one term.

“My message is very clear that the UPND government came into power with a trade mark of lying. That HH and the UPND have continued to lie to the Zambian people that even as their campaign promises have not been delivered, the man has no sense of humility to apologize to the Zambian people,” he said.

“Therefore, our appeal as EF, our appeal as members of this opposition coalition is to say to the Zambian people, you gave MMD 25 years, PF 11 years, give the UPND only five years. HH and the UPND in 2026 must go. Don’t wait for them longer than that because the distraction that they are going to cause to this country will be irreversible.”

Meanwhile, former Minister of National Development Planning Lucky Mulusa said Zambians have grossly been disappointed by the way UPND is running the affairs of the nation.

Mr Mulusa said there is need to reclaim the Zambian interest.

“The Zambians have been greatly and grossly disappointed. We have noticed that what we fought for was not on behalf of the Zambian people but on behalf of foreign interest and personal interest where you want to achieve certain goals, probably to be the first multi billionaire Zambians in terms of dollars. I think that is what the current leadership is competing for,” he said.

“And it is incumbent upon ourselves to come together, create critical mass……. reclaim the Zambian interest and make sure that the Zambian victory does not continue reflecting into Zambian cries.”

He told the UPND administration that they cannot start celebrating reducing the levels of inflation rate by simply squeezing money out of the economy.

“Zambian at the moment are crying. You cannot start celebrating reducing the levels of inflation rate by simply squeezing money out of the economy,” he said.

“Those that are selling goods and services do not have customers, customers do not have the disposable income to be able to look after their welfare. And for you, you start celebrating, putting a smile on your face when your mandate was putting a smile on the Zambians that voted for you.”

  1. UPND should learn to handle these failures well and put them in a good position were they will appreciate the effectiveness of the laws than letting these criminals gag and make this lovely county ungovernable through their lies. UPND must be mindful that the majority of us are not educated and are easily manipulated by crookedness of the likes of Mulusa and Kabimba the most vissionless and a missionary and defender of the criminapls. Kabimba is not sleeping seeing HH his rival running the country in a more practical and peaceful way. Kabimba wants to test HH.

    • Spot on. Very wise words. I ask the UPND administration to read and comprehend this very important observation and contribution.

  2. Campaigns this time sure? Under 1year you are talking about the elections? Selfish individuals without a heart for Zambians. Look at your friend lusambo, he is quiet and learning to be responsible but this group of selfish politicians don’t mean well for zambia.

  3. What is common about these two guys is that both of them were thrown out of PF. Now they have found their freedom to speak, and they think everyone thinks like them.
We know why Mulusa is bitter he
thinks Mutati is enjoying himself while he was left in the dust but that is not UPND’s problem. It shows you made a wrong choice.

  4. Kick them out and replace them with who? Say what you can do better and how you can do it, not just kick out. So that you come in and do the same, no plan?

  5. MR KABIMBA YOU ARE ENTITLED TO YOUR VIEWS, BUT LET ME ASK YOU ONE QUESTION, IF WE DO NOT VOTE FOR UPND, WHAT IS THE ALTENATIVE, LOOK AT YOURSELF, LOOK AT PF IN ITS CURRENT FORM, LOOK AT MMD, LOOK AT KALABA OF LATE, AND FOR THE SOCIALIST WE KNOW THAT THEIR AGENDA OF SOCIALISM WILL ONLY MANAGE TO ISOLATE THE COUNTRY FROM THE REST PF THE WORLD, SO WHICH ALTENATIVE ARE WE TALKING ABOUT?

  6. Sad when a politician is consumed by his own hatred and all reason is thrown out of the window. To mention a lie over and over again so that so how becomes a truth is insane.

The opposition put together are so scared and teriffied of this administration making proper progress such that the very thought of a possibility of success makes them ill.

Incidentally, the proper way to remove a sitting government is through an election not begging the people to turn against the government we call it out and our leaders must pay attention to this well calculated plot of turning the hearts of the people against a legitmately elected government.

These continued false statements by the opposition should not be taken for granted. We have a population that may not apply the same expert understanding to issues and can easily switch to blame the person the see ruling despite the fact that the trouble and corruption was caused by the same failed past regime.

Especially that they are being acquitted daily. It proves a point that they are innocent. So this administration must woke up to this perpetual mockery and decent from the opposition that is mounting.

However, there is a big difference between selling your manifesto and making unsubstantiated statements about the government. Therefore let the media team from UPND count lies with truth in an organised and professional manner. Don’t be reactionary be on the offensive with truth. Be ahead of them so that you completely answer them before the ask the question. The media is the space a government can either gain or lose popularity.

Lastly ths man is a big disappointment. I expected more maturity from him other than this childish behaviour he is engaged in. We have a very weak opposition indeed.

  7. Can the law be changed so that HH rules wamuyaya? Kabimba azazimangilila kunvelaso. Kikikikikiki. We intend to continue with UPND. We have no intention of voting for a president dying to move into state house and start earning a salary; and put his children and family into govt jobs, NO!

  8. Ba Lucky Mulusa, you should have waited abit.
HH, hasn’t finished appointing ambassadors. Ala, kutekanya ifintu. You have just blown it

  9. @Mate, I dont know what kind of information people the UPND media team are, they never listen to what people are telling them on social media. What you have observed is exactly what I have been saying. In our Bantu culture if a person is telling people lies about you and you keep quiet, then you are guilty of whatever you are being accused of. Most our people are illiterate or semi illiterate and to them, repeated lies with no one to counter them from the UPND are counting as the truth.

    • Spot on Sir. I agree with you 100%. May the powers that be pay attention to these little foxes. The previous regime was and still is an expert at various types of misinformation and propaganda as already seen. They surely should not be taken for granted.

  10. Winter kabimba mdala where are you going to get the people who are going to remove the current government? Not even your own family and people of shibuyunji have regards for you. Mdala you in five years time people will be saying amukaleke ako kamdala mbakabele. Nkashinchinko.
