Drone Strike Reported at Wildberries Warehouse in Yekaterinburg
A Ukrainian long-range drone reportedly targeted a Wildberries warehouse and distribution facility in Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia.
Initial reports said the drone struck the roof of the warehouse, followed by an explosion and fire that sent a large column of black smoke over the area.
Wildberries and local authorities said the situation was brought under control and that the fire was extinguished without major damage. However, images circulating online appeared to show flames and smoke continuing at the site, leaving the full extent of the incident unclear.
The reported strike comes after other incidents involving Wildberries logistics facilities in Russia. Ukrainian authorities have previously alleged that some large logistics centers are being used to store and transport electronic components and drone-related equipment for Russia’s military.
