ECZ REFUTE CLAIMS OF SUSPENDING THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF BALLOT PAPERS.

Kalulushi District Electoral Officer, Betty Liswaniso, has refuted claims that the district has halted the announcement of ballot papers due to the discrepancies.
Speaking to Journalists at the totalling centre, Ms. Liswaniso, however explained that the result announcement was on halt to allow polling staff bring the remaining election materials to the totalling centre.
Ms. Liswaniso, said it is saddening to note that some media houses have decided to misinform the public that the Kalulushi totalling centre had some discrepancies.
She has since assured political stakeholders to remain calm as result announcing will resume soon.
Ms. Liswaniso, said the district has so far announced results from 25 out of 68 polling stations and is still awaiting for staff who are coming from distant polling stations.
Kalulushi District has 50,120 voters.
