ECZ SAYS NO RESULT-CONFIRMATION DOCUMENTS WERE PENDING AT ITS TEN SERVICE CENTRES AS OF FRIDAY.
The Examination Council of Zambia (ECZ) has clarified the timelines for confirmation of examination results for individuals and institutions.
ECZ Director of Certification, Dr. Kunda Kuku, says results from 1998 to date are available on the Council’s Self-Service Portal, where confirmation is done instantly after a request is submitted.
Dr. Kuku says results from 1997 going backwards are available in digitized form at all ten ECZ service centers across the country.
He says, in accordance with the ECZ service charter, confirmation of such results is completed within 24 hours, whether the request is made by an individual or an institution.
Dr. Kuku has, however, expressed concern that some institutions collect documents from clients and only submit them to ECZ after accumulating a certain number of requests, resulting in unnecessary delays.
He says once documents are submitted to ECZ, they are processed immediately.
Dr. Kuku says as of Friday, there were no pending result-confirmation documents at any of the ten ECZ service centres, with some centres only awaiting collection of already confirmed documents.
He has urged members of the public and institutions to take note of the official timelines when seeking confirmation of examination results.
