Eight Muslim-Majority Countries Condemn Israel Over Gaza Peace Plan
Eight Muslim-majority countries have strongly criticized Israel for rejecting a U.S.-backed peace plan for Gaza initiated by President Donald Trump.
Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, Indonesia, Türkiye, Qatar and the UAE accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of blocking the proposed 15-point roadmap, which calls for a phased Israeli withdrawal from Gaza in exchange for Hamas disarmament.
Israel insists that Hamas must fully disarm before any Israeli withdrawal.
The eight countries also condemned Israel’s reported rejection of a sovereign Palestinian state, warning that the position could seriously undermine regional stability and efforts to end the Gaza conflict.
