EIGHT MUSLIM NATIONS ISSUE JOINT STATEMENT CONDEMNING ISRAELI CALLS FOR FURTHER PALESTINIAN DISPLACEMENT
The foreign ministers of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Pakistan, Qatar, Jordan, and Indonesia have issued a joint statement strongly condemning recent remarks by Israeli officials regarding the further forced displacement of Palestinians and proposals to remove Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
The eight countries said such statements represent a clear violation of international law and constitute a direct attack on the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people.
⚠️ The ministers warned against any attempt to forcibly displace Palestinians from their land, stressing that forced population transfers are unacceptable and must be firmly opposed by the international community.
They also called on the United Nations Security Council and the wider international community to fulfill their responsibilities and take decisive action to prevent any attempt to impose the forced displacement of Palestinians.
The joint statement reflects growing regional opposition to proposals that could further alter Gaza’s demographic reality and intensify the wider Middle East crisis.
