ELON MUSK DECLARES TIME FOR ZELENSKY TO GO AS THE SLAUGHTER CONTINUES

Elon Musk just said what a lot of people have been thinking. On October 15 he posted: “And so the slaughter continues … Time for Zelensky to go.”

He was responding to reports that Zelensky has no intention of ending the war until Russia is fully defeated. His biggest worry, according to the account, is what happens when the fighting stops and he has to face the Ukrainian people in an election. Lose that vote and he could face investigation and prosecution. A long list of his predecessors ended up in the same boat.

This is not the first time Musk has said it. Days earlier he agreed that Ukraine needs a new leader. He has spent months calling for elections and arguing that a man who refuses a vote is no longer representing the will of the people. Meanwhile the body count keeps climbing and American money keeps flowing into a war that shows no sign of ending on Zelensky’s terms.

President Trump has made the same point in plain English. He has said it is time for Ukraine to get a new president, someone who can actually cut a deal instead of treating every ceasefire as a personal threat. Zelensky, for his part, told interviewers he has no plans to resign. His answer was simple: it is his responsibility. Critics hear something else: it is his protection.

The current fight has also exposed friction over Starlink and military communications. Ukraine has complained about restrictions and delays. Musk has said the decisions sit with the U.S. government, not him. The larger picture is the same. A leader who will not hold elections, who will not accept territorial reality, and who treats peace as a personal risk is keeping the meat grinder running.

Musk’s line was short. The point was not. If the war continues because the man in charge cannot afford for it to end, then the argument for new leadership is not complicated. The slaughter continues until someone decides it stops.
