Prof. Kansonso’s body remains unburied here in Seattle, Washington DC. Despite the fact that he was a Proffesor, he did not have funeral insurance, and as a family we lack financial means either to bury him in the United States, or repatriate his remains to Zambia.
Given that he had become a naturalised US citizen, the Zambian Government involvement is constrained. So a few Zambian well-wishers contributed about US$3,000 to enable the Prof’s brother travel to America from Zambia and formally identify the body.
What is painful is that some of those who were closely associated with him, including Mr Emmanuel Mwamba, have not come forward to assist since his passing.
We need money here. We all know that our family member was being abused by some politicians but please post this so that we can be helped to bury him because the body has been in the mortuary since his demise and the bill is daily getting big.
A Tanzanian failed to contribute to a congole. Northern province- secure our borders pls. Its way too porous. How can we have refugees fighting themselves on Zambian soil? How? Linda Kasonde, John Nsangwa, Mukandile, including that one who was shot ” Kafwaya” all these are pure Kasai’s. Imagine a kasai who only got in Zambia in 2001 and he was minister in 2018? Eh? You as a Zambian you born here in 1970 and u not even a ward chairperson- kikikikikikikikikiki

The truth usually comes out on it’s terms. Here is someone who was at any slightest chance boast about his $ salary from the US government as a professor in accounting. He could insult people at will, only not to have a funeral insurance. This is a lesson to all those in the diaspora to respect people home. His language was despicable especially towards Tongas. Here we are now. May the ever forgiving Zambians show goodwill and contribute towards his funeral expenses including Tongas we are one people. God bless Zambia.
Go ask for donations from Mundubile. Otherwise, sell his house and use the money to manage his funeral. He has died in shame this fella. A lesson learnt indeed.
