The first batch of nominees comprises former Foreign Affairs Minister Mulambo Haimbe, former Zambia National Public Health Institute Director-General Roma Chilengi, economist Noel Nkoma, University of Zambia academic Gilbert Siame and former Luena Member of Parliament Mubita Anakoka.

  1. Government is not driven by Ministers but mainly by Permanent Secretaries and board directors in parastatals. Who he appoints in those keys positions is what may either constitute balance or imbalance. Cabinet is simply a political make up on the face of government. I hope you understand.

  2. Congratulations, Mr. President. I am impressed by the caliber of individuals appointed to key ministerial positions. Their strong academic and professional credentials inspire confidence in their ability to serve effectively and deliver on the aspirations of the Zambian people.
