ERDOĞAN WARNS: ACTIONS IN WEST BANK AND JERUSALEM THREATEN PALESTINIAN STATEHOOD

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has strongly condemned developments in the West Bank and Jerusalem, warning that they are threatening the prospects for an independent Palestinian state.

“The existence of an independent Palestinian state is being undermined. We cannot turn a blind eye to this, nor can we remain silent.”

Erdoğan accused the Israeli government of continuing what he described as illegal actions in the West Bank and Jerusalem, while warning that Israel is intensifying policies aimed at expanding control over Palestinian territory.

He also accused Israel of pursuing forced displacement of Palestinians from their homes, saying such actions further undermine the possibility of establishing an independent Palestinian state.

Erdoğan said Turkey will continue to oppose measures that threaten Palestinian statehood and called for international attention to developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.
