And Mr. kamba says the Police must probe the video and will find that UPND are behind the circulating video.
In an Interview with Zambian Watch News, Mr. Kamba says Zambians must also start interogating how four individuals wearing masks can be let free by the Police if indeed they are from the opposition.
Mr. Kamba says the viral social media video linking him to alleged criminal activities, is aimed at destroying his reputation and discrediting his party just weeks before next month’s general elections.
In an explosive response, Kamba said he has never known, financed, instructed or worked with any of the individuals appearing in the video, insisting the allegations are completely false.
“I have absolutely no knowledge of, nor any association with, the individuals appearing in that video. I have never sponsored, instructed, financed or encouraged anyone to engage in violence, criminality or any unlawful activity, Even the devil is shocked with that lie” Kamba said.
He claimed his name was deliberately inserted into the video as part of what he described as a calculated attempt to mislead the public and portray the NRPUP as a violent political movement.
Kamba further accused the ruling UPND of focusing on what he called propaganda instead of addressing reported cases of political violence, pointing to incidents in Kaputa, Kabwata and parts of Southern Province.
He challenged the Zambia Police Service and other investigative agencies to urgently trace those behind the production and circulation of the video, saying they should be brought before investigators to account for the allegations.
Declaring that he has nothing to fear, Kamba said he is ready to cooperate fully with law enforcement.
“I have nothing to hide. I stand ready to cooperate fully with law enforcement because I know the truth is on my side,” he said
The claims made in the viral video and Kamba’s allegations about its origin have not been independently verified.
