EVEN THE DUMB CAN SPEAK FOR THE LOVE OF MUNDUBILE, SAYS PAUL MOONGA.

Former United Party for National Development (UPND) supporter Paul Moonga says he is amazed by what he describes as the overwhelming support Brian Mundubile continues to receive from Zambians.

Mr. Moonga says there are growing signs that the 13th August General Election will be deeply personal for many citizens, as they rally behind the NRPUP presidential candidate.

And Mr. Moonga has accused some members of the UPND of being selfish and egocentric, alleging that they spend too much time praising one individual “as though he were Jesus.”

Speaking to Zambian Watch News, Mr. Moonga claimed that the level of affection for Mr. Mundubile is so great that “even the dumb, the deaf and the blind” would want to express their support for him.

He said when voters become emotionally attached to a presidential candidate, those in power should pay close attention.

“I could see even the dumb trying to find a voice to sing for Brian Mundubile. Did you see that? It shows how much this man is loved by Zambians. The dumb, the blind and the deaf all want to know and feel who Mundubile is,” he said.

And Mr. Moonga said he found nothing inspiring in the UPND, apart from what he described as selfishness and excessive ego among some of its members.

“I wonder what kind of people are in the UPND. There are only selfish and egocentric people who want to praise one person as though he were Jesus,” he said.

  1. As long as we have mostly illiterate voters, our destiny as a country will be determined by illiterates, yes, the ECZ raised the bar a bit on those seeking electoral office to Grade Twelve but without also raising the bar on voters we as a country are back to ZERO regarding electoral improvements.
Clearly the illiterate voters we have don’t know what they want, instead of asking a candidate what that candidate will do for them in terms of development, all they ask for is how much are you giving me.
I implore the next set of legislatures to ensure they pass a law to eliminate illiterate voters from voting so that the country can begin to see meaningful development through selection of the right candidates vetted by the right voters and not these mostly illiterate useless voters that we have now. To them campaign time is Christmas instead of a chance to have the right legislatures. That is why we end up with mostly useless politicians as well because all they do is pay their way through
