EVERY ZAMBIAN TO RECEIVE SOCIAL CASH TRANSFER UNDER MUNDUBILE
Toonse Pamodzi Alliance presidential candidate Brian Mundubile has pledged to expand Zambia’s Social Cash Transfer programme so that every Zambian holding a National Registration Card (NRC) receives monthly financial support if he is elected President.
Speaking during a campaign rally in Ikelenge Mr. Mundubile said his administration would reform the current Social Cash Transfer programme to make it universal, arguing that the move would help cushion citizens against the high cost of living.
He said every eligible Zambian with an NRC would receive a monthly payment as part of his government’s social protection measures.
Currently, the United Party for National Development (UPND) government provides Social Cash Transfers to selected vulnerable groups, including older persons, persons with disabilities and other qualifying beneficiaries under different payment categories.
Addressing supporters, Mr. Mundubile said his government would take a different approach.
“I want to make a promise to the people of Ikelengi that once I become President of this country, we will improve the Social Cash Transfer programme and make a few changes,” he said.
“What we will do differently is ensure that all Zambians with NRCs receive Social Cash Transfers as a way of managing the cost of living. We want to make sure that every Zambian is comfortable in their own country.”
The proposal is one of several campaign promises Mr. Mundubile has been presenting ahead of the general elections as political parties continue to outline their plans for improving livelihoods and addressing the rising cost of living.

Then why should people work under your rule, and where will the money come from? From reserves, for how long?
This is total ignorance….. Such financial support for the poor exists even in developed countries, and its specific to people who can meet the average minimum for living.
If Mundubile wants to change it to cover all people, then that is no longer social cash for the poor; it becomes SUBSIDIES
WHY HAS ELECTORAL COMMISION OF ZAMBIA GONE TO SLEEP, THE RULES ARE VERY CLEAR ON THE ADOPTION CETIFICATE, ONE SHOULD HAVE A DULY SIGNED ADOPTION CERTIFICATE BY APPROVED OFFICE HOLDERS OF THE PARTY THEY ARE STANDING ON, SO IN THE CASE OF THOSE HAVING ADOPTION CERTIFICATES SIGNED BY MAKEBI ZULUS PARTY BUT STANDING ON MUNDUBILES PARTY, THEY HAVE TO BE AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED BECAUSE THE ADOPTION WAS DONE BY THE WRONG PARTY.

Mr. Mundubile is a clear and present danger to our country. This man will ruin the country at lightening speed. He is proposing to spend and spend and spend but doesnot tell us where the money he will be spending is going to come from.
Social cash transfer for all? Absolute rubbish! What Zambia needs is to bring down the cost of production (electricity, taxes, fuel) and improve efficiency. Throwing money at problems won’t solve the cost of living issues. It will only fuel inflation making the problem worse.
You can give the people all the money you want but if there is no improvement in production, you will have lots of cash chasing too few goods leading to higher and higher prices (hyper inflation). This is basic economics and Mr. Mundubile who fancies himself to be a lawyer and accountant doesnot seem to grasp this basic fact.
Mr. Mundubile is a con artist. He is hell bent on getting into state house at any cost. He does not mean well for our country.
Desparate times call for desparate measures….here is a man trying to convince us that the sky is pink. Just so that he can get into State House and loot.
Where has such a notion existed? Where able bodied Zambians start getting free money for doing nothing?
