Former diplomat Emmanuel Mwamba has challenged president Hakainde Hichilema to expedite the appointment of officials to various government departments, diplomats and other statutory bodies.

Ambassador Mwamba is concerned that the president is slow in making such appointments as well as confirming some appointees to their official positions.

Mr. Mwamba says since ascending to power, the president has avoided the confirmation of Acting secretary to the Cabinet Patrick Kangwa, all provincial police commissioners remain in acting positions while the president has also not appointed diplomats in some missions abroad.

He has reminded the head of state that it is an abrogation of the law for anyone to be in an acting position for a long period of time as most of the current officials have been acting for close to a year now despite the law prescribing a period not exceeding 6 months.

  1. Ikalafye, we nkumba iwee, who are you to challenge the president. Mulekwatako insoni.
Go to your convention, why are you, worried about our government. Taukaete ifyakuchita.

    • Iwee chikala just just up u don’t know anything you are a dull just who dies think and perhaps you use your ass to think, let the president do the right thing

  2. Good observation and a constructive criticism; I hope you have now reformed. Your point is noted and we will work on it.
By the way, I thought you’d respond to young Alexander Nkosi, what happened? I hope you got point though.

  3. We remind him his boss Sata let his relative justice Chibesskunda act as chief justice for 3 years. She had passed the retirement age thus abrogated the law. He never raised a voice. But we take note of his concerns.

    • But u know that two wrongs can not make a right ok so let your Bally do the right thing and tell him to reduce the cost of living as promised during elections compaign
