FAILURE FOR HH TO MEET CHITIMUKULU UNACCEPTABLE- SEAN TEMBO

“You Were In Kasama and Refused to Pay Courtesy Call on Paramount Chief Chitimukulu”-Sean Tembo

  1. As Patriots for Economic Progress (PeP) we find it regrettable that President Hakainde Hichilema failed to pay a courtesy call on Inkosi Ya Makosi Paramount Chief Mpezeni when he visited Chipata two weeks ago, just like he failed to pay a courtesy call on Paramount Chief Chitimukulu when he visited Kasama yesterday. After ignoring the two Paramount Chiefs, the President decided to visit other junior chiefs in the respective areas instead.
  2. As Patriots for Economic Progress, we would not want to speculate why President Hichilema has been acrimonious towards the two Paramount Chiefs ever since he ascended to the Presidency. However, our advice to the President is that he needs to respect traditional leadership and also adhere to the well established norms and protocols for treatment of traditional leaders in Zambia. President Hichilema should desist from his habit of only respecting traditional leaders that come from his political strongholds in the country. Mr Hichilema must understand and appreciate that now that he is Republican President, he needs to be a President for all Zambians. Otherwise he will not succeed in uniting the country if he segregates which traditional leaders he gives respect and which ones he doesn’t.
  3. As Patriots for Economic Progress we call upon President Hakainde Hichilema to extend an apology to both Inkosi ya Makosi Paramount Chief Mpezeni and Paramount Chief Chitimukulu for visiting their towns but ignoring to pay a courtesy call on these senior traditional leaders. Such an apology is important as a way for the President to embrace all the regions of the country and unite the nation. For it is only through a united Zambia that we can achieve national development and prosperity for our people.
  4. Going forward, President Hichilema should desist from acts that may be construed as segregating, ostracizing and embarrassing traditional leaders from certain regions of the country. Mr Hichilema should be reminded that Presidents come and go but traditional leaders will always be there.

Thank You and May God Bless the Good Citizens of the Republic of Zambia and Our Hopeful Nation.

Yours Sincerely

SEAN E. TEMBO (SET)
PARTY PRESIDENT
PATRIOTS FOR ECONOMIC PROGRESS (PeP)

  1. Sean, we are not interested in whether HH met or didn’t meet some partisan and obscure village chief in the northern.part of our country. What we want to hear is how much has been recovered from the thieves so please spare us the irrelevance and go and eat your nshima….chi colour

  2. Also, am sure you are aware that the 2 village chiefs you mention refused to meet HH and had him chased away in their villages when he was in opposition.
So let the idiots keep the same energy now that he is President.
Maybe it will teach them to respect people for who they are and not for the tribe the come from.

  3. Treatment of traditional leaders by the President is a a matters of courtesy and the President is in no ways obliged to meet them whenever he is in their provinces. Mr. Tembo should not politicize the issue of visiting traditional leaders. I am one of those who feel that traditional leaders should not receive an allowance from the taxpayers money. Paying some of these traditional rulers from the national treasury is a waste of public resources.

  4. Just realised how old you are Tembo. Now I see the reason you always vomit nonsense…Am not sure if you are a real Zambian Tembo…probably Malawi….Remember those who where rejected before i can never false to be accepted…This Chitimukulu refused to meet HH before…He never wanted HH to take over the thrown…He once said “don`t give the country to these people you will regret it”Meaning HH…We don`t forget. Why should HH forge friendship today where he has never been Wanted.Chitimukulu is just like any other chiefs…a traditional leader. What value does he add to the economy apart from collecting tuma brown envelope from Chagwa…now its finished….

  5. Sean Tembo you are mad, you have forgotten that you were campaigning that wako ni wako only and you were calling HH and All Tongas as Dogs. It is not easy to visit such people like your Friendly chiefs.

  6. We have not forgotten how ill treated Presido HH felt and the discrimination he faced as he aspired to become Zambia’s President. This annoyed the entire country as we saw Chief Chiti with arrogance, talk about the supremacy of the Bemba Kingdom to determine who has to rule Zambia, which he does not even know has been diluted by KK’s intermarriage program. Ohoo poor Chief Chiti mwamona nomba, it pays to simply say; “sorry Mr. President, I will not make a fool of myself again, lessons learnt”.

  7. I’m pure Bemba , my grandparents are from Kanyanta manga Bwalya Mwine Lubemba the first lineage. I have spoken before and I will do so. Mwine lubemba brought shame on us and it’s entirely up to President HH either to forgive Chitimukulu or not . Sean Tembo leave this to the two individuals involved

  8. Respect is always earned. The mentioned chiefs never allowed HH as an opposition to campaign peacefully and were publicly denouncing him in their chiefdoms. Know that he is the President now and he chooses where to go. He went to lay a wreth on the grave of a great man, a co-founder of “One zambia one Nation”. The late shimpundu Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe and his wife, may their souls rest in peace and thanks for their sacrifice.

  9. KK never visited chiefs. There is no law that requires the President of the Republic of Zambia to visit any chief. Chiefs should be non-partisan and they are servants of the government. We should do away with the hypocrisy of giving them respect only for endorsements.

  10. Sean is still stuck in the past with fake presidents who patronize chiefs with brown envelops. Get over it you are now in the new Dawn government. Those days are long gone and they will never come back again.

  11. President HH just had a stop-over in Kasama, which is in Snr. Chief Mwamba’s area. Chief Chitimukulu is in Mungwi District. I personally do not think HH can be so vindictive that he can deliberately fail to call on the two chiefs. He has forgiven people who did worse things to him than the Chitimukulu did to him. It just may not have been possible this time because Kasama was not HH’s destination, but I am very sure he will meet the Chitimukulu as time goes on. The only problem with Sean Tembo is that he is looking for mistakes in whatever HH does. This is not fair.

  12. Those chiefs never wanted HH, Why talking on behalf of someone? Are you the spokesperson for those who hated him? Consider also his safety while there. Anyway ba Sean lisaka, leave him.

  13. IS IT MANDATORY FOR THE PRESIDENT TO VISIT MPEZENI WHEN IN CHIPATA OR MUKUNI WHEN IN LIVINGSTONE OR SHIMUKUNAMI WHEN ON CB? CHAGWA LUNGU VISITED LIVINGSTONE SEVERAL TIMES WITHOUT PAYING A COURTESY CALL ON CHIEF MUKUNI, DID ANYONE POLITICIZE THAT OMISSION? CHAGWA VISTED C/BELT SEVERAL TIMES WITHOUT VISITING CHIEF NKANA, WHY WAS THAT OMISSION NOT AN ISSUE? UZIKHALA NA NZELU IWE!

  14. Sean, why you don’t remember that chief snubbed HH on too much occassions when he was was in opposotion? Why you are biased always? Stop it

  15. During UPND campaigns some of these Chiefs refused to meet HH and you didn’t speak for HH niether did you speak on behalf of any chief

  16. Paramount Chief Chitimukulu is not a God, President HH had no program with him! The two will meet when a forum will be set. Please Sean Tembo why are you quite on tribal rantings by your opposition rejects? You tend to amaze me on your silence. In short there’s nothing wrong for the President not vist Chitimukulu as there is nothing wrong for him not to meet other chiefs in muchinga province.Let no one especially these failed political regects spoil your progressive programs.
