Fire Mweetwa For His Ethnic Criminal Confessions And Let Him Be Prosecuted Like Dr Chishimba Kambwili- Umodzi Kum’mawa

FIRE MWEETWA FOR HIS ETHNIC CRIMINAL CONFESSIONS AND LET HIM BE PROSECUTED LIKE DR CHISHIMBA KAMBWILI

The Kum’mawa Development Foundation (KDC) also known as Umodzi Kummawa take note of the public confessions made by the Minister of Information and Media of his wilful involvement in a scheme to orchestrate and promote consternation in the political field and nation based on tribal remarks.. in his revelation this is something which was done, as part of a strategy, fronting the incarcerated former Minister in the PF Regime, Mr. Chishimba Kambwili, who is currently incarcerated on the offence of hate speech bordering on ethnicity and maligning a named tribe in the country.

This revelation is not only appalling but shockingly erodes the confidence of the Minister holding public office but also raises fundamental questions around the matter in terms of both government and party policy. Zambia’s long history of being a unitary state is at risk with such revelations that are not only criminal in nature but also puts the entire UPND leadership and that of the Republican President to test.
As the Kum’mawa Development Coalition, we are alive to the extent that Zambians are becoming sensitive to matters of ethnicity and how this erodes the fabric of our existence as a nation. It is, therefore, even more disappointing that a senior member of the UPND and chief government spokesperson is directly linked to these unfortunate and divisive statements.

As a movement, we call upon The President to distance himself and his government from these horrifying political crimes by taking drastic measures of immediately firing this named minister from his cabinet.

Our forefathers and architects of the new state called Zambia rallied together to build one state on the mantra of “One Zambia, One Nation”. Therefore, it is extremely unfortunate that those who occupy public office today can disrespect these ideals by confirming their direct involvement in unlawful, illegal and unconstitutional activities of dividing and destroying Zambia.

As this is a matter of public interest, we further demand justice to prevail and call upon law enforcement agencies (LEAs) to investigate and prosecute Mr. Cornelius Mwetwa just like they did to Dr. Chishimba Kambwili.
