FIRST LADY MUTINTA HICHILEMA WISHES UPND WOMEN CANDIDATES SUCCESS.

First Lady Mutinta Hichilema has wished women candidates from the United Party for National Development (UPND) success in the 2026 General Election.

Mrs Hichilema says the candidates’ participation in the election represents hope for the girl child and demonstrates that women can lead and pursue positions of responsibility.

In a message shared on her Facebook page ahead of the elections, Mrs Hichilema has  encouraged UPND women candidates to remain courageous, saying their voices carry the hopes and aspirations of many.

She said their journey also serves as a reminder that the dreams of the girl child can rise, courage can lead and opportunities are within women’s reach.

“Wishing all UPND women candidates the best of luck in the 2026 General Election,” Mrs Hichilema wrote.

She added that the women’s participation demonstrates that possibility belongs to those willing to claim it.
