FORMER CABINET MINISTERS MOURN LATE KAFWAYA
Former Home Affairs Minister Hon. Stephen Kampyongo and former Higher Education Minister Eng. Brian Mushimba today visited the funeral house of the late former Minister of Transport and Communications, Hon. Mutotwe Kafwaya.
Also among the notable figures who paid their respects were Hon. Brenda Nyirenda, Member of Parliament for Lundazi Constituency; Hon. Philimon Twasa, the retained Member of Parliament for Kasenengwa; and Hon. Chonde Gystave, the retained Member of Parliament for Milenge and veteran politician Muhabi Lungu.
The former late Lunte Member of Parliament died during a security operation in Lusaka’s Kabulonga area on August 14, 2026.
