Former Finance minister Katele Kalumba has apologised to President Hakainde Hichilema over the remarks he made against the Head of State.

And Kalumba has now been charged with seditious practices and is being held at Twinpalm police station in Lusaka
Kalumba was earlier charged and arrested over cyber harassment of President Hichilema.
State House has confirmed to Daily Revelation that President Hichilema was disappointed that Kalumba could repay his kindness in the manner he has done after all that he did to pardon him from jail after was imprisoned on corruption charges.

Accepting the apology is just encouraging stupidity.
Very foolish old man.
Let him serve a prison sentence. He was previously pardoned and behaved like a junkie. He clearly didn’t learn the lesson or appreciate the grace that was advanced to him.

I thought, being a traditional leader, Kalumba would be very wise but, alas, all we see is utter foolishness being displayed by an old man. I his case, age is just a number – no substance.
Let him the court process proceed….we need sanity. People like Katele Kalumba are setting back example to the young. Let him be punished.
Whatever that traditional leader smokes must be very cheap. At his age behaving 21. Let the law take it’s course. I wonder what kind of friends Mr. Katele Kalumba has who can’t reign on him. He behaves stupidly.
