FORMER UKRAINIAN INTELLIGENCE CHIEF CLAIMS RUSSIAN TROOPS FACE HEAVY BATTLEFIELD LOSSES

Former Ukrainian intelligence chief Valeriy Kondratiuk has claimed that figures presented to Russian officials in Moscow indicate that the average lifespan of a Russian soldier on the battlefield is just 35 minutes.

Kondratiuk also claimed that, over an 18-month period, Russian forces captured approximately 1% of Ukraine’s territory, describing the figures as newly disclosed data.

The claims could not be independently verified, and no detailed methodology or source documents supporting the reported figures were provided in the statement.

The figures come amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, where both sides continue to report conflicting assessments of battlefield casualties, territorial control and military advances.
