FORMER UNZASU VICE PRESIDENT JEMIMAH MWABA NOMINATED AS MP
Former UNZASU Vice President Jemimah Mwaba, popularly known as Commander Kwishiba, has been nominated by the United Party for National Development (UPND) to serve as a Member of Parliament under the newly introduced Proportional Representation system.
The nomination follows the enactment of the Constitution of Zambia (Amendment) Act No. 13 of 2025, which introduced 40 Proportional Representation seats in the National Assembly.
Her nomination is, however, subject to validation by the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) this morning.
Further details are expected following the ECZ validation process.
